We are a church of approx. 300 resident members with an average worship attendance of 130. We offer age graded Sunday School activities, Youth activities, Children's activities, Adult and Children's choirs, Adult/Youth, & Children's Handbell Choirs, Mission Groups and many more opportunities for ministry.

We are a religious organization...serving God and community.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are large enough to offer several ministries, but small enough to offer personal interaction.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location, and we do not plan to expand.

I-26W from Asheville, take the Weaverville exit. Turn right onto Weaver Boulevard, turn right onto Main Street. We are 63 N. Main Street between Weaverville United Methodist Church and Weaverville Public Library
Which areas do you service?
Everyone from all areas are invited to attend all services and activities.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
First Baptist is a non-profit organization and is governed by its congregation.
What are your hours of operation?
Monday through Friday, 8am until 3:30pm. We have Sunday School at 9:45am, Worship at 10:55am, Adult/Youth Handbell Practice at 4:45pm and Adult Discipleship at 6:00pm. On Wednesdays, we have Kids For Christ (Grades 1-6) from 2:30-5:45pm, Family Night Supper (by reservation - $3.50 adults and $2 children) at 5:30pm. Singing and Prayer at 6:15pm, Adult Bible Study, GA's, RA's, and Youth Activities at 6:30pm. Adult Choir Practice at 7:15pm.
